Andrews’ early work includes short stories published in these anthology books,Andrews was part of the Writer’s Bloc club that originated on Wizard Magazine’s Wizard World website

He has worked on Incredible Hulk, Ultimate X-Men, Gen, Amazing Spider-Man and The Matrix Comics.

He has also done work on album design, such as the Beta Band’s third studio album Heroes to Zeros and Tegan and Sara’s 2002 album, If It Was You, as well as directing their music video “Living Room.” Andrews has also directed multiple award winning short films and PSAs.

Andrews did a four-issue mini-series for Marvel known as Spider-Man: Reign set 35 years in the future starring a retired Spider-Man.

Andrews is currently filming his debut feature film Altitude starring Jessica Lowndes (“Beverly Hills 90210”), a supernatural thriller about five friends on a small aircraft lost in a supernatural storm

Born in 1981, in Porto Alegre, south of Brazil, Rafael Albuquerque
begun his professional career working for advertising,
producing illustrations for local companies. The comic book interest,
however, started in 2002, when he decided to work exclusively for
the publishing market.

Basically all of his portfolio was shown only at internet, and trough
this media came his first comic book job. The Egyptian company
AK Comics asked for some samples, and then he got his first gig
overseas. Rafael´s colaboration (not only as artist, but sometimes
as creator) was very important for the company.

In 2005, with the writer Felipe Ferreira, has created the owner
creator graphic novel Crimeland (first called Rumble in la Rambla),
published in 2007 by Image Comics.

For Boom! Studios has illustrated series like Savage Brothers (writter
by Andrew Cosby and Johanna Stokes), Pirate Tales (writter by Chris
Ward) and Jeremiah Harm (created by Keith Giffen and Alan Grant).

Rafael has also colaborate in antologies like Tales of Fear Agent (with
Ivan Brandon) for Dark Horse Comics, Wonderlost (written by C.B.
Cebulski) and the Eisner Award nominated 24Seven – vol2.

Nowdays Rafael is an exclusive artist from DC Comics, working in books
like Blue Beetle (writtenby Keith Giffen, John Rogers and Matthew
Struges), Robin (written by Chuck Dixon) , Stanger Advetures (written
by Jim Starlin) and Superman/Batman (written by Michael Green and
Mike Johnson).

Mario Alberti nació en Trieste, Italia, en 1965. Desde muy joven comenzó a dibujar sus propios cómics y, pese a licenciarse en Economía y Comercio, en 1990 publica en la revista “Fumo di China” su primer trabajo como dibujante novel con el personaje Holly Connick, cuya tercera entrega fue publicada directamente en álbum. En la editorial Bonelli publicó el primer episodio de su personaje más emblemático, Nathan Never, titulado “Il Canto della Balena”, que le hizo merecedor en 1994 del prestigioso premio Albertarelli. Un tiempo después dibujó las aventuras de Legs, uno de los personajes secundarios de Nathan Never. Desde el 2002, con guiones de Luca Enoch, comenzó a ilustrar “Morgana” y en 2004 se publicó su primer álbum de “Redhand”, ambos para la editorial Les Humanoides Associés

Biography

He obtained a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca and served as a member of the faculty of fine arts from 1995 to 2000.

Aja began working as a professional illustrator in Barcelona in 2000. He has conducted public lectures on illustration as Faculty of Fine Arts at both Universidad de Salamanca and Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). His work includes CD covers, as well as computer graphics with collaborator Marcel-li Antúnez.

He and his wife, Pilar, live in Valladolid, Spain.
